Hey men, what up? I think victor wooten has a unique style, as you can see, he plays the bass like no other, even if it's rock with the vital tech tones, or like jazz with the flecktones... or just doing music...! That makes u notice how great a musician is...! And what would you say about Michael Manring, Billy Sheehan, and Stu Hamm?

in my opinion: billy sheehan, mike lepond, john myung, victor wooten, geddy lee, michael manring, franck hermanny, carl cadden-james and lauri porra would do it. I don't know what to say about Jaco...

sure cliff burton is good.
Flea is better.
this cant go without mentionin Larry Graham, after all he is the inventor of the "slap" technique (and "pop" too).
but whatever, i dont like the guy, although he was important, but whatever, in my opinion Flea is the best

This is a really tough question. I cannot really say who is the best but i can mention some of my favorite bassists out there. A bassist i really admire is Steve Di Giorgio. This guy has a really unique style and plays with his fingers at incredible speed! Cliff Burton, Victor Wooten, Billy Sheehan, Michael Manring, Flea and Jaco are of course great musicians. I also love Marcus Miller and Rex Brown. Rex's bass lines are out ofd this world! His groovy, bluesy style of playing is really unique!
